Angola and Zimbabwe will collaborate in promotion of cultural tourism and handicraft production

The government of two states signed an agreement to promote such important fields as tourism and handicraft production. This accord of cooperation between these states might encourage economy, tourism and cultural sectors of both states.

Recently, representatives of Zimbabwe and Angola have signed the cooperation protocol in the tourism sector. The bilateral agreement was signed in Zimbabwe within regional tourism congress at Victoria Falls- main attraction for tourists.

Two countries are promoting the tourism and enlarge the investigation in this sector in order to achieve constructive results, according to agreement. For Tourism sector it is planned to organize joint exhibitions, trade fares and other events.

Handicraft productions are the second main sector that is planed to be promoted through different joining programs. As it was affirmed, Angola and Zimbabwe plans to set up joint special courses at specialized training centers and schools. These courses are taught by teachers from the two countries. Zimbabwe is the destination of cultural tourism. Handcrafted products are very appreciated and valued part of local culture.
